SmartBizCard ("we," "us," "our") is a digital and physical business card platform operated by Mentech3D, based in Vadodara, Gujarat, India. This policy explains what information we collect when you use smartbizcard.in, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information We Collect

When you place an order or create a profile, we collect:

• Name, phone number, email address
• Delivery address (for your physical NFC card)
• Profile photo, cover photo, and any other images you upload
• Business details you choose to add — company name, designation, services, about section, product/service listings
• Social media links you provide (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, X, website)
• GSTIN, only if you choose to provide it for invoicing purposes
• Payment details are handled entirely by our payment partner (Razorpay) — we do not store your card, UPI, or bank details ourselves

2. How We Use Your Information

• To create and host your public digital profile page
• To design, print, and deliver your physical NFC card
• To generate GST-compliant invoices for your purchase
• To contact you about your order via WhatsApp, phone, or email
• To send you a private link so you can edit your own profile details

3. Where Your Data Is Stored

Your information is stored using Supabase (database and file storage) and hosted on Vercel — both established cloud infrastructure providers with their own security practices. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. Your Public Profile

Once your profile is set to "Active," the information you've chosen to include (name, photo, contact details, business information) is publicly visible to anyone who taps your NFC card, scans your QR code, or visits your profile link directly. Please only include information you're comfortable sharing publicly.

5. Editing or Deleting Your Information

If you have a private edit link, you can update most of your own details anytime. To request a correction, deactivation, or deletion of your profile and associated data, message us on WhatsApp using the number below.

6. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your profile is active or as needed to comply with tax and accounting record-keeping requirements under Indian law (including GST invoice retention).

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
